I admit, through the tense verbal feedback and raging negative attitude, I promise there’s some good in me. Im not gonna lie, it’ll probably take a journey from the earth to the moon and back in order to get it out. I hear the pitter patter of rain bouncing off my ceiling. The sound of these coqui frogs have become the “crickets” of paradise. So soothing to live in the lush tropical green on a small rock we call “Big Island” yet, even in the coldest of weathers I find myself vying for the warmth of an entity other than the body pillow that carries that “home” scent on it...
